MOTHER-DAUGHTER CAMP IS YOUR CHANCE TO SPEND FOUR FUN-FILLED DAYS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND CREATE STORIES OF YOUR OWN WITH YOUR CHILD!

Our Mother-Daughter camp is a special way for girls (currently in K-3rd grade) and their moms to preview the Hollymont experience.  You’ll explore a variety of camp activities, spend peaceful evenings on Hollymont’s beautiful property, talk face-to-face with directors and staff and make new friends, all while spending quality time and strengthening relationships. Mother-Daughter Camp lets you spend time doing almost everything that traditional campers do, so you can make the best decision about future enrollment.

Camp Hollymont is the perfect setting for your mother-daughter retreat with first-class accommodations and numerous activity options. Everything is planned for you so you can fully focus on having fun!  Forget the distractions of everyday life… play, learn, and laugh while you enjoy this intentional and memorable time together.

Choose from a variety of daily skill activities (led by our amazing summer staff!) that you and your daughter will get to experience together. You’ll spend plenty of time at Lake Laurel, basking in the sun while also enjoying activities such as canoeing or sliding down the Summit Express! We take care of the cooking, so you can fully enjoy bonding with other moms during your stay. As the sun goes down, you’ll be in for a treat, experiencing the fun and excitement of our famous Night Activities! You’ll also want to stop by the Camp Store to purchase souvenirs to remember your time spent at Hollymont.

June 18-21

Mother-daughter session check-out occurs on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. 

Check-out will be at “The Hub.”

Be sure to check your mailbox and the package counter for late Friday arrivals. If you didn’t complete your purchases on Friday, we can open the camp store. If you need to leave earlier, please drop by the business office on Friday morning to arrange an early check-out

You and your daughter will have a private room in one of our (“dorm-style”) houses, dedicated specifically to Mother-Daughter Camp, and there are community bathrooms on each hall. There is a comfortable gathering space when you enter the house, allowing you to enjoy additional bonding time with other mothers and their daughters!  You’ll enjoy all of the amenities our campers utilize on a daily basis.

While we don’t want to ruin the surprise, we’ll give you a few hints! We hope to create a Hollymont-like experience for you and your daughter to enjoy together. We want you to have days filled with adventure, fun, laughter, relaxation, and learning. We desire that you grow closer together as a mother-daughter unit and ultimately, closer to God. It’s our goal that this be the best weekend of your year and that it encourages your daughter to attend one of our camper sessions in the summers to come!

There are plenty of scheduled activities as well as time to enjoy your choice of recreation or simply relax. A mix of mother-daughter activities are complemented with moms-only activities and daughters-only events to provide a more genuine camp experience. Moms and daughters both get to experience the thrill of taking risks and building new friendships.

There is nothing more exciting than packing and preparing for your time at camp! As you and your camper prepare for a summer at Hollymont, we have done our best to provide a list to assist with the packing process.

We also send a Special Events packing list between April 15 and May 1. This will provide additional suggested items your camper should pack based on their session. We cannot wait to see you at Hollymont this year!

The best way to build a stronger relationship with your daughter is to spend time together.  You’ll experience fun and exciting activities together, all while making amazing friends and learning more about God.  We believe you’ll fall in love with our Hollymont bubble and count the days until the next summer’s session!
