
Missy McKibbens Roper
Missy is the Executive Director of Camp Hollymont. Missy has been involved with Hollymont since 1983 and has experienced everything Hollymont has to offer for both the camper and staff member. Missy is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she also attended graduate school. Her education and background in counseling complement her wide range of knowledge in the camping community. Missy and her (late) husband, John T. Roper, Jr., MD, have one daughter, Loren Jane Roper.

Emily Levy
Emily serves as Camp Hollymont’s Director. Emily started attending Hollymont in 2001 as a camper. Throughout her 11 years, she worked her way up to Counselor-In-Training, Counselor, and Head Counselor. Emily graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary & Special Education from Mercer University. She went on to get her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. Emily worked as a 5th grade teacher for 8 years and throughout her career, she was awarded both McAllister Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year and Bryan County District’s Teacher of the Year for the 2017-2018 school year. Emily’s true passion and prayer has always been to return to Camp Hollymont, and in 2019 God answered this prayer. Her emotional and spiritual dedication to Camp Hollymont are true assets to both the campers and staff.

Gail Mashburn
Gail serves as Hollymont’s Administrative Director. Since 1990, Gail has been a full-time staff member supervising the business office, camp store, and other camper/staff support services. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Hollymont team. Gail is a graduate of Warren Wilson College.
