Adventure Awaits!

Summer camp is an exhilarating adventure filled with new friendships, discoveries, and the joy of growing closer to God in the beauty of His creation. Feeling a flutter of butterflies at the thought of stepping into this new experience is completely natural. To ease your mind and prepare your heart for the excitement ahead, we’ve gathered answers to some of our campers’ most common questions.

Please take a look at our daily schedule.

Classic campers who wish to change a skill may do so on the first Wednesday of each session. New schedules will be issued after morning watch.

Please review our packing list for items that you will find necessary or helpful to have at camp:

Packing List for 13, 20, and 27-Day Campers

Campers have the opportunity to design their own schedule. There are a few skills for which campers must pre-register and pay a fee. Skill placement begins prior to your arrival at camp and you will receive your final schedule on Monday morning. Skill offerings for a given session are determined by the camper skill requests and the availability of teaching staff.  Registered campers can select and amend their skills via CircuiTree.

7 Day Sessions
· Full skill days are Monday – Wednesday and Friday.
· Partial skill day on Thursday due to AM Activity at Lake Laurel.
13 Day Sessions
· Full skill days are Monday – Wednesday, and Friday of the first week and Monday – Wednesday of the second week.
· On Thursday morning, campers spend 1st and 2nd skill at Lake Laurel. Campers resume their normal skills after lunch.
· On Saturday afternoon, campers make up their 1st and 2nd skill that they missed on Thursday.
· On the last Thursday, we enjoy Lake Laurel one more time and during the afternoon we practice for Step-Sing, pack, and make a few last memories with friends.

27 Day Sessions
· Campers will follow two cycles of the 13 day session skill schedule.
· In between the sessions, the 27 day campers will get some rest, do laundry, and take off campus trips to area attractions.

· Wake up time is usually sometime between 7:45 and 8:15 AM.

· Lights out for the Hummingbirds – 9:00 PM.
· Lights out for the Cardinals – 9:30 PM.
· Lights out for the Bluejays- 9:45 PM.
· Lights out for the Eagles- 10:00 PM.

We suggest $100 for every two week session. Charges for personal items, cluster and hall activities, medical expenses, and camp store/canteen will be deducted. Spending account information will be confirmed with each camper family during check-in.

Absolutely! We provide tons of opportunities and night activities that are made even better with costumes, musical instruments, and fun props. Evening activities vary from session to session and are subject to change. During April, the Camp Director will publish the summer events document which lists themed events to expect each session.

The camp store is open on opening day, closing day, and daily during rest hour. Stamps, cards, stationery, disposable cameras, toothbrushes, and clothing are sold in the camp store.

We strive to balance the need to keep campers constructively active (thus preventing boredom and homesickness) with the need for campers to have some time to slow down and enjoy moments with their friends.

After 4th skill, campers will go to their cluster and enjoy an hour of free time. Once girls have gone through the first five days of camp, we begin to slow down the pace of things (i.e., sleep late Sunday).

You will play, laugh, learn, love, and smile more than ever before!

Oooh yeah! You will love every minute of it so much you will not want to leave!!!
